John Way has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry

John Way is an award-winning computer programmer who worked on the first digital contract labor system for Verizon.

PLANO, TEXAS, June 25, 2021 – John Way has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

When he was eight years old, John Way learned about software and computer programming from his father, who was studying the field at the time. His father would bring home learning materials from work and they would study together, which initially sparked his interest. Later, his father bought a computer and they learned even more. Mr. Way went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Texas A&M University and began his career with Verizon.

Mr. Way worked for Verizon during the early stages of the development of the internet, and he was part of the team that built the company’s first digital contract labor system, which saved several million dollars in contractors’ fees. Later, Mr. Way was an engineer for MCI and a vendor for Hewlett-Packard. In 2004, he founded Pipelineapp.io.

Previously in his career, Mr. Way also took part in designing an enterprise system for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. This system won the ITSMA Award, an industry marketing association honor, and the HPE President Quality Award from the chief executive officer of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The system enables a next-generation sales platform which saves time. In his current position with Pipelineapp.io, Mr. Way designs enterprise digital systems for multiple companies. In 2018, Pipelineapp.io was recognized as Product of the Year.

Over the years, Mr. Way has been most inspired by seeing the evolution of computers, from using floppy disks to the plethora of products on the market today. He attributes his professional success to his curiosity, which has propelled him to explore the depths of machine learning and program development. In the coming years, Mr. Way plans to help more companies find innovative breakthroughs in the field.
